I had downloaded a freebie set of textured materials for Vue a looooooong time ago -- one of which was this black stuff with what looked like an eye in the middle of it. As I couldn't think of any reason I'd want an odd looking eye in/on anything I was rendering I never even looked close at it. Today, for some odd reason, I said, "What the hell, let's see what it looks like on a flat wall." LOL I never thought it would be a cat's face with whiskers -- you couldn't even see those whiskers in the preview image of the material
